It is a wintry cold night in Iowa, down into the mid twenties. The garden season is definitely over (hopefully the flea season is over for the dogs, too.) I gathered the remaining peppers and tomatoes from the garden yesterday. We did get a lot of peppers this year. I think my new lawn grass is probably done for as well. It just started to sprout and I really didn't think it would freeze this early. We even had snow this morning! It was only an inch or so, and it melted by afternoon, but it was our first snow of the year.

Tonight, we watched Iowa beat Michigan, keeping their undefeated season going. The Hawkeyes are great this year! Go Hawks!
