It is a warm late Sunday night in Iowa. The weekend went way too fast, and I am not ready to go to sleep yet. The weather here has been warm, windy and dry. A lot of the trees have changed colors, and the cold weather can't be far away. We had a quiet weekend, mostly at home. We watched a lot of football and baseball, and we all took a nice walk/bikeride/stroller ride on the greenbelt today. This afternoon, after we got home, Asher started learning how to ride his bike with no training wheels. He had some big crashes, and some unsolicited advice from little girls riding by, but he is starting to get the hang of it. Hopefully, he can get comfortable with riding, and not forget how over the winter. Eva is talking a lot more, putting together little sentences. She is a tough little girl, and not afraid of anything. Elise has started laughing the last few days, which is very cute. She was very sick last week, and has recovered from that now, so it is good to see her back to her happy self.
