Ice, Ice Baby

It is another cold, cold night in Iowa. I just got back from a very long business ethics class and I'm roasting a batch of coffee out on the deck.  At zero degrees, it takes forever!  The weather has been wild in the last week.  We had a huge ice storm a week ago that caused all kinds of problems...

...then it got above freezing and poured rain on Saturday.  On Monday, we got an unexpected snowstorm, followed by winds that caused a blizzard and huge drifts everywhere...like in our driveway....over and over again

Tonight, though, it is just cold, with a dusting of new snow.  Winter is starting to get old around here.

Sarah took Eva to her day-care "orientation" today. Sarah, Asher, and Eva all start back next week.  Asher is very excited to see his friends and to be able to run around and play a little bit more.  Eva still seems to be on a growth spurt, and has a voracious appetite!
